the British architect who designed the palace was Edwin Landseer Lutyens. the original plan of the palce was a mixture between western and eastern style.s. Lutyens' design was grandly classical and luxurious, with color and details inspired by Indian architecture. the palace is so spacious since it has 340 decorated rooms and a floor area of 19,000 square meters.
